The University of Warwick and University of Southampton Law Schools hosted our second seminar at the University of Warwick Brussels Office on 17 October 2017. This was a forum to discuss specific policy proposals (made in our draft policy paper and brief) for adapting the current EU equality legislative and policy frameworks, to improve their feasibility and encourage their adoption.
The seminar opened with keyotes by MEP (Greens) Jean Lambert and the European Commission’s Monika Ladmanová. Invited speakers included European Commission officials, representatives of civil society, trade unions, a range of NGOs, and EU law academics. Watch a brief video about the seminar here.
